A white racist’s legacy and livelihood over a Black person’s trauma. That’s why I believe they should suffer a significant loss in order to understand the impact of their actions. They go on to be “great" in their White worlds and our circumstances never change. We still live in an America that blesses racist and curses the oppressed. At some point, folks will come to understand we live in a White Supremacist capitalistic society. The only thing men like this guy understand or care about is money.
The impact of invisible racist microaggressions and racial discrimination prevent Blacks from achieving many things here. If White people would fight as hard to address the evolution of slavery, Black Codes, Jim Crow and oppression in the nation, perhaps I would have a different perspective. Right now all I see are White men saying and doing to Blacks and getting away with it. It’s not a good look. It’s old. Four hundred years old as a matter of fact!
I’m tired of a White man’s legacy trumping a Black man’s trauma. Forgiving Whites collectively does no good because collectively Whites are disinterested in solving our national race and inequality issues. All most Whites care about are their feelings and their prospects to earn $. Colonialism and capitalism rule!
