Add Florida. It’s happening in the U.S. and goes unnoticed. It’s unfortunate that people that have lived in places for generations are being pushed out by wealthy foreign developers, tourism, and rich Northerners with disposable income to buy second homes. They want to come to FL and have people “serve” them, with no regard for where these people live, or even if they can afford to live. Some people live nearly 2 hours from where they work because they can’t afford to live there. Damn shame! Eco-tourism is bad for everyone except the tourist.
