Asking White women to take a knee detract from the movement’s original intent— to bring attention to Black men and women being killed by police and the Black Lives Matter Movement. Feminists have plenty of movements and methods to get their messages across without co-opting our movement. White women have not been very good allies when it comes to the oppression and upward mobility for women of color. Women of color are fleeing the feminist movement in droves.

I would kindly ask that you not ask feminists (White women) to co-opt our movement, as redirecting the attention from Black Lives Matters to White women with political aspirations harms people of color being abused and overshadows the need for criminal justice system reforms. Not winning in politics and people being killed at the hands of White Supremacists and scary, biased cops are not in any form related.
