Everybody does it, then claim they aren’t racist when they are called on the carpet about it. Racism is deeply entrenched in America’s fabric. It’s a system. Immigrants learn it pretty quick and get in line so not to receive the abuse Blacks get. Yet they’ll turn around and say we deserve everything we receive and we deserve to be treated the way we are treated.
Colonialism has destroyed the world. And even though slavery is dead, its racist tenets are still living on in infamy. If people would understand how racism hurts everyone, they’d stop (maybe). It’s a cancer without a cure. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences. I try to learn as much as I can about different cultures to see where the allies are. Thus far, allies are few and far between. Capitalism drives colonialism, segregation, racism, and back stabbing just to survive. Money corrupts and our lie about the American dream has caused many people to sell their souls out to racism. I’m pushing equality and cultural immersion. We are more alike than we are different.
