Everything you have noted I have dealt with myself personally or experienced with my sons. I find myself working extra hard in stores to not appear as if I'm stealing. White people don't have to do that.

Living in the world while Black is living a life denied. It's living a life always catering to a White gaze. We are denied the freedom to exist without considering what Whiteness thinks or believes. Tending to the wounds of microaggressions is par for the course for Black people.
