First let me say I miss you brotha. These are the times we need our men to speak up. We cannot win this game. Nothing we do is going to make our lots in life better allowing Whites to lead us. Every point you made encapsulates how I feel. We’ve seen it. We’ve been saying it. Now it’s indisputable and clearly evident to those with eyes to see. There is no winning. We will never be good enough. They are never sharing, and they are never going to stop harming us, even when they know it’s wrong.

It doesn’t matter if you’re educated, if you live where they live, work where they work,or play where they play. We are never going to be accepted, so why continue?

I’m so over this and them. Watching them take their country and burn it down is so interesting. Everything my dad told me about White people and how they treat Blacks and Browns is true, and no amount of words can erase what we’re witnessing today. The best thing we can do is rally together to weather this new storm. This too shall pass.

I’m thankful I taught my sons the truth, prepared them for this cruel world, and helped them adapt to our never changing plights. Everything that goes up must come down, and maybe we’re getting ready to see a leveling of the playing field.

There are a lot of Whites getting ready to see what it’s like being Black, and I’m here for it.
