Have you ever heard of the politics of the poor White man?

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/01/11/opinion/trump-immigration-white-supremacy.html

Poor Whites still hate Blacks and People of Color. Most will put White over everything. A White man and a Black man can both be poor, but the White men in those states you noted will think they are better than a Black poor person because of their White skin. I understand about your frustration because you feel you’re personally attacked, but you must look at the modern world and the role and impact of colonialism. Look at what America taught the rest of the world. U.S. Slavery and 3/5 mindsets led to the Holocaust.

At the end of the day, if the shoe doesn’t fit, don’t wear it. If it doesn’t apply to you, then ignore it. You gave a lot of excuse which have nothing to do with the reason why White people of all stripes and walks treat people poorly globally.

Poor, Whites have animosity towards all sorts of immigrants for no reason. European whites dislike Blacks and Browns too. This piece is so much deeper than the issues you address. If you read this in terms of me only referring to Black and White issues, you totally missed the point and missed all the words and scenarios happening because of Anglo/European/ White extremism. For instance, Black Americans aren’t refugees. We never will be.

Why is it that White people, no matter what is said, must roll back around to centering the thing meant to teach them about being less racist to their Whiteness? It’s so selfish and so exhausting.

I wish other non-White minorities could share without having the attention being taken away from their issues sometimes. Yes, we may all intersect in many ways, but even where we intersect, most White/European/Anglo people will pick the White if it will give them preference in the area of intersectionality.

It’s how we stay they minority. Having the noted experiences will help White people focus less inward and understand how looking inward ALL THE TIME impacts others.

I’m not overlooking your poverty. I’ve been poor and lived among poor Whites. I have cared for people with disabilities too. I understand how we intersect.
