Hello and good morning! This right here. The higher the status the sisters have, the more disconnected they become. Michelle Obama needs to drop the South side bit. She is “us” til shit gets real then she’s AWOL, busy enjoying her comeuppance after the torment of being the first Black first lady. It’s the same for Oprah and other Black celebs. It’s time we stop making national celebs and politicians our local advocates where all the shit is happening.

They all have missed prime ops to speak up about the ensuing civil war. As far as I’m concerned, they are White until it’s convenient to be Black. They act the same way as other White feminist when it comes to protecting and standing up for us. When need them, they are no place to be found. Silent. Their silence is consent.

I’m done with famous assimilated saviors. Support your local efforts and do the best we can. Let them join us, screw waiting on them to come thru. Their priorities are not to the same anymore. Their advocacy and the risk to their pocketbooks are connected.
