I tend to think of racism this way. Once you discover you’re a racist, you’re never cured and you’re always susceptible because racism evolves. If you think you’ve got it licked you’re sure to make a mistake, injure someone or make a choice that harms another group. Politics is a perfect example of this.
Racism is like being treated for addiction. You’re always susceptible to relapsing. You’re never free. It’s a journey until the end. It takes work everyday..
