Hi Chris,
You’re right, so was Malcolm X, Dr. King, Medger Evers. They all were right. They each tried in different ways to fight the monster, understanding full well it’s nice while it’s nice, but it can turn on you at any time. We should never be surprised, but we always are. We keep looking for the humanity, and liberal White folks keep showing us their evil. It’s pretty amazing that in these times and at Woodward’s age he chose money and fame over humanity.
I guess that’s how people with money, regardless of color, think. Fame and money are like drugs and it seems people are addicted to it.
I keep looking for the light at the end of the tunnel, and I’m not finding it. White Supremacy is so entrenched in everything even good people seemingly can’t tell when the lines blur. I just keep reading and listening to the words of the Black ancestors and elders and watch White people verify them. I don’t see them changing anytime soon.
