Our people did well prior to integration when left alone. We were self-sustained, peaceful, thriving communities prior to integration and domestic terrorism from locals and the klan. We asked for desegregation for numerous reasons. We had no clue White people would remain so savage and be so resistant to change. Many Black people are ready to go back to their corners where they can find peace. There is no peace, no justice, and no fairness living amongst White people.
