I agree it’s sad, but also scary that millions of people voted for Andrew Johnson’s twin in 2016. Nobody for Johnson. It’s an indictment on the America and the legacy of the Confederacy/Slavery. I wasn’t horrified or shocked when Trump won, because I had watched my old White friends change and become more anti-Black and hostile. No to me of course, but to those who weren’t in their circles. Being the token Black friend gave me an inside view of the evil ahead.

It’s still sad to know so many people horde so much hate.
