I agree, but some people have endured some struggle, and their attitude is the bootstrap philosophy. I don’t understand it. How can we ever decrease inequality if the American people don’t want to fight for anything. Everyone has a dog in this fight. We’ve gotta start looking at things in ways that impact everyone. We are interconnected and failing to see this only makes things worse for us all. I’m no longer ignoring how Democrats have treated us, and I am no longer waiting on the party to get around to recognizing my contributions to America. I’m good enough to help them win, but not a priority after they get their win.
I’m not intentionally taking an “L” for liberal voters anymore. They have shown me they don’t care about my interests or safety. These types of White people really need to do some looking in the mirror.
