I agree, but when you experience fear from one group more than any other, there is a pattern. There are some things you don’t do because you’re a decent human being. Even the fact that White people can be rude, so often, with no repercussions is telling.
I understand people have reasons for being afraid, but White women are afraid A LOT. Like a lot. Like so much movies reflect it. Legislation is crafted by it. So, perhaps we need to examine White fear. While your rationale may be reasonable, many White people have acknowledged they were taught by parents to be afraid of us.
I don’t want to confuse rude and racist. I also don’t want to disconnect the two when it’s warranted. At 50 I can tell the difference between an rudey and a racist rudey.
