I agree. Everyone wants perfect, designer kids. And when they don’t get them they toss them like garbage. I have worked with so many throw away kids. I felt so bad for them, because by the time they reached me they were so angry and so hardened that you can barely help them. It takes a long time to break down those walls to offer support and to begin the rebuilding process. It was very hard to see. It still is. When I see a young transgender kid walking alone, with that look… I always wonder if the child has supportive connections.
