I agree. It puzzles me how certain groups' atrocities take precedence over those of Native Americans and African Americans, the original others. Somehow, Americans have no problem aiding the Jewish community after domestic terrorism but can’t seem to stomach much helping other groups being terrorized by the same people terrorizing American Jews. You can’t even bring up this fact/issue without being called anti-semetic.
The Jewish community has been a huge visible ally in the past, but they are very silent and invisible today as they have assimilated to Whiteness in all their ways to include living separately from people of color. They should do and stand more with America’s longest-standing “others” groups, Blacks and Native Americans.
What you see today is the result of whitewashed history. People have forgotten our struggles.
