I am there with you. I try to write at the 6th-9th grade levels to ensure I’m not excluding readers. I notice certain topics about America, politics, and race seem to generate more traction, but this piece I noted is pretty old. Somehow it’s generated traction again and bots are all on it. Sometimes I wonder if we are sleeping with the enemy using social media and sites like these. We use them to connect with the world, the world uses them to sow and expose racial and social divisions among us.
It’s mostly the nation’s fault for not addressing racism hundreds of years ago. Terrorism of all forms from racists is tolerated and condoned in America.
The creators of these platforms are not concerned with being patriots. They don’t appear to be protecting the people who brought them to the dance either. I hope to see some type of efforts made to secure and monitor the site better. It’s a shame such a good site tolerates such nonsense.
