I appreciate this so much, but rarely does it happen. Thank you for even writing about it. So often we women of color not only have to defend ourselves from abusive or know-it-all men, but we also have to educate White people on the impact of the racism they aid in propping up. It’s exhausting and unfair for us to do the heavy lifting of White men. I appreciate your “gentle” prompt for White men.
