I heard racism in Tech is other world. I can’t imagine being employed in an environment that tends to attract White men who lack social skills, emotional intelligence combined with racism in combo with bullying women who are supposed to be allies.

I see lots of Black women on social media discussing the toxicity of Tech. I know the only way it’s “supposed” to be better is to recruit more Black women, but I am seriously questioning whether that’s good or safe for our physical and emotional well-being. I’m tired of sending us into spaces we aren’t welcomed for the sake of diversity. Racism isn’t going any place so we must protect our bodies and our minds.
