I just give up with the labels myself. They change so frequently like the community tends to do it’s very difficult to people not active in the community to keep with them. I think it’s distracting and takes away from people learning about sexuality and gender in general. The sheer hostility that comes with asking and not knowing, when the labels keep changing is enough to make anyone disinterested in learning. My philosophy is I am concerned with my own sexuality and understand that which is a lifetime journey. I don’t have time to worry about what someone else identifies as. I am thankful for the attempt to differentiate, but I still don’t see any difference and I’m bi.

But I’m almost 50, and perhaps that’s the issue.
