I know exactly what I’m arguing. Just like the Supreme Court struck down the civil rights act that ushered in the Black Codes, this challenge sets up other challenges that could rescind the rights of Blacks. Too many times people just look at the shiny object in front of them without understanding the history or significance behind the challenges. Freedom, equality, and basic civil rights in America aren’t promised to Blacks. They can be rescinded by courts at any time. I know our history. I know our courts. And I know I live in a racist nation where White men eat, sleep, and breathe new ways to strip away rights of Blacks. If you can’t see the logical progression of this racist administration, perhaps you may be apart of the problem. I can’t stress this enough, LISTEN TO BLACK PEOPLE. Stop telling us what we are misinterpreting and look at what you may be misinterpreting.
