I love this line. It’s so true. I have heard this experience happening here more times than I can shake a stick at. When you are not on the wrong end of the color spectrum, life is so much easier for you. It always cost more to be Black and Brown which is why we can never attain wealth.

There is always some crap sucking resources, time, and life from us just to exist. It’s almost as if to say if you’re Black or from some other Brown ethnic group, you don’t deserve anything good to happen to you unless Whiteness blesses you with it. I’m thankful to hear your story and at least you can see it.

I can’t tell you how many White friends I have who tell me we are equal and they don’t see color or how People of Color are treated differently. It says a lot about them. Your awareness speaks volumes about you too ❤️.

I write intelligent, unvarnished thoughts on anti-Blackness, racism, politics, Black people, and White Supremacy. White Fragility🚫| www.ko-fi.com/marleyk
