I. Love. Your. Rant. I feel the same way. I gave my ballot to my partner’s kids and asked them all (2 middle schoolers and 2 high schoolers) to do the research and let’s vote together. I voted for most all the candidates they suggested. If they had been office for more than two terms, I voted against them. I skipped judgeships where candidates had ties to Republicans. No need to bubble in the devil.
I know DWS is a vote rigger as well which is why I voted against her. People seem to forget the role she played in keeping Bernie out of the general election by helping Hillary cheat Bernie. I haven’t forgotten either. Not sure how we forgot the email leak. Voter disenfranchisement is a big deal here in Broward and Dade Counties. I’m hoping for the best. Most people seem to be very aware since Satan lives here now that the cheat is already cooking the books to win the state. I expect us to have huge issues. All of the state’s governors have been corrupt as well. The best chance we have is voting down ballot and select more younger progressives. We also need to vote out all the old heads. I picked a college grad for Supervisor of Elections. I want young bold progressives.
I want change and the only to get it is to vote down ballot. You have inspired me. I’m happy I’m not the only one dissatisfied with the options, the lesser of 4 evils.
Down ballot it is for me as well. Thank you for sharing this. I have said my peace about the 2020 election. While I don’t care for Harris, I’m not in the business of bashing her. My position on her record and background have not changed, especially in the year of BLMand George Floyd. There really is nothing left to do except vote for good people. I’m hunting the good people down ballot in 2020 and hoping things work out locally. Like you, I live in a rigged, red loving state and there isn’t much I can do about it.
