I never had a dream guy. He just needed to be good looking, and a protector. I always had little White boys crushing me, and I never thought it was a big deal. In high school my dad met and dismissed my lil white boyfriend (he is racist…like Archie Bunker). After that, I only liked, dated and eventually married Black men. It wasn’t until I divorced that I started to taste the rainbow. I have enjoyed exploring men of different ethnicities as a mature woman. All the fear (well most of it anyway) and racial dating rules are long gone. People are ready to explore and learn, but you have to be a willing vessel and take it slow. Being sexually liberated helps greatly lol, and giving people their fears and dated biases back are a must.
I think I was in love with Al. B.Sure in high school, and Christopher Williams…when light skin was in style in the late 80’s early 90’s. I like what I like, and I’m a firm believer you can attract what you desire.
