I really don’t feel parent’s deserve a parade, flowers, and other honors. Some kids are wanted and planned, other are accidents/unplanned. My line of thinking is no matter how a child is conceived it had absolutely no say in the matter. It’s a parents’ job to raise their kids. Why should parents desire praise and worship from their children for doing their jobs?

It’s like little league baseball and everyone gets a trophy or an award for showing up. I think I will pass on asking my kids to celebrate me for deciding (or accidentally) having them. I don’t want mother’s day.
