I’m really sad to hear this. I’m watching my neighbors experience something similar. I wrote about it. Whatever you do, be honest with yourself and your hubby. Unfortunately, Parenting isn’t like buying a new car and trading it in if you don’t like it or selling it if you don’t want it anymore. You don’t get to test drive wives and children. You don’t get to find out whether you like it until you’re in it. Then you gotta make some tough choices.

At the end of the day, you’re all human and you all deserve to be happy. Buyer’s remorse is real. There is no right or wrong solution. You must do what’s right and good for everyone involved. I can’t tell you what to do, but I can tell you about what a disengaged husband looks like after a few years and another child, all observed from my kitchen window.
