King can’t fool anyone, nor is he trying to in my opinion. He is a symptom of the racist flu America has.
As long as King and his ilk keep subverting the systems and disenfranchising minority voters (i.e. Blacks and Native Americans) and people accept openly practiced racism nationally, we will never have a more diverse government reflective of the current America. These men are stuck on keeping Congress looking throwback and White. They know just what they are doing. They know who they are speaking to, and if the Democrats can’t do any better than they presently are in fighting for voting rights in states, then we will never have a diverse Congress. Congress will remain, old, mostly White, and racist.
