Man thank you for saying this! White people think Dems got this thing in a bag and are being extremely dismissive about the Black vote this go round. I keep warning bro. We’ve been taken for granted for sooooo long. They think we are a monolith. They think we can’t count and have forgotten about all their promises. They think we can see the covert racism and lack of investment in the idea of us leading ourselves. Dems have a White savior complex too.

They have issues any time newly elected women of color speak their truths. It’s a problem. I’m watching how the Dems treat these women. If they don’t respect them, can’t listen them, can’t understand their views — -then they feel the same about me.
