Many gay educated Blacks left the Black church and joined the Unitarian Church and the when the Episcopalians split many joined the LGBTQ affirming faction of that group. We’ve been topsy turvy down here for the past 8–9 years. In the end, we could do more. We should be more loving. The last thing we need is to treat our own as if they have no value. I love my queer family, and it hurts me to see them harmed by some Black interpretations of religion. Keeping hope alive….
