Thank you for sharing this. You story makes me want to tell my story of raising biracial Black grandkids with racist White people. I understand what you've experienced. I'm thankful you have Black friends who can share in your experiences and help you through this difficult time. But I swear if a White person spits on me or hits me I am going to jail. I refuse to allow them to intimidate me and I jail can't be any worse than living everyday with what ifs. If the if happens, I am not turning the other cheek, I'm not praying, and I'm not asking for forgiveness.

I'm laying hands and protecting the only thing that I have to protect me from White Supremacy, my body and mind.

White people know what they are doing when they do that shit and they do it to people they sense won't do anything back to them. Don't be that person. We must stand up and defend ourselves. That's why they believe they can spit on us, because they know which folks won't or can't defend themselves. I'm so over them. Bless you for your courage, but please know they know exactly what they are doing when they try us.
