Nope. Ain’t seen a White or non-Black soul I know say “Oh I’m so sick of having it good and getting by on my color and privilege. I wanna take some of that racism and anti-Black hatred off y’alls hands.”

Not a once.

They don’t mind have a few of our characteristics though. Like how we dance, skin (we age well), strength to deal with long term problems- like discrimination. I’ve heard some with they had our athleticism or even cooking skills. But to be us, no one is signing up to be Black, not even an upper middle class one. One of my readers the other day told me about all his Black friends, Asian wife, lived all over the world where there is great poverty, but said plainly he didn’t want to live amongst Black people. In an essay about anti-Blackness, he showed his anti-Blackness in the middle of a paragraph in sentence less than a minute long. He was a White man too.

No one wants drama every day. But then they have they nerve to say they aren’t racism. If White folks are so much smarter than everyone else (per their preconceived stereotypes about themselves), why is it so hard for them to grasp this shit? In any event, you did a great job with this. I love how you write about race.

I write intelligent, unvarnished thoughts on anti-Blackness, racism, politics, Black people, and White Supremacy. White Fragility🚫|
