Our work is supposed to be protected here. A take down notice is one way to address the issue, but it does not address compensation for work reproduce without permission. Your big pieces you could pay to have the copyright protected. You can register your entire blog, then sue offenders via your local civil court up to the maximum amount. If they fail to appear you usually get the judgement anyway. It’s a small price to pay in order to protect your work and to sue when your rights are violated.
