Perhaps you should try to immerse yourself into systems and communities of color. Or maybe read some history books not written by White people. Take a trip to historical battlegrounds in the South. Study Jim Crow. Maybe read the Civil Rights Acts --all the versions. Read about the promise of 40 acres and a mule. Study gerrymandering. Research the Voting Rights Act. Instagram and college can’t possibly provide you any substantive understanding of race relations and racism. Study the Chinese Exclusion Act. Maybe learn about American ghettos, segregation, Brown vs. Board of Education? Do you know about the history of slave catching which evolved into our current criminal justice system?
In any event, if you don’t understand how systems of oppression work you’re likely willing to be a White sympathizer. Clearly you’re living in a segregated and sanitized environment. Get in your car and drive to the Southeast US. You can speak about race when you have such an extremely limited understanding and knowledge of America. You speak from a lack of knowledge and your inferences about people of color are as racist as the people you’re giving blanket passes too. It’s quite telling. But thanks for identifying yourself.
