Thank you for weighing in and your supportive context are the sentiments of the original spirit and intent of my comment. I’m sorry you’ve experienced the realities of workplace sexual harassment. They are not expressed in such terms enough. I’m kind of exhausted with trying to explain to “good men” how “bad men” impact the lives of innocent victims of sexual harassment and assaults. There have been plenty of studies discussing the impact of sexual assault and abuse, all the different aspects of victimization post assault for those really interested in understanding and aiding in trauma-informed, victim-sensitive advocacy.
Then there are those who love to talk…and give the regular “What about xxx,” scenarios. They are predictable, and their antics/sarcasm is quite revealing.
