Thank you so much for reading Chris. Pessimissm is indeed the correct word. We have seen White liberals and progressives rob us of progress in 2016 and 2018. They love White Supremacy as much as conservatives. It just looks different.
I hope White people are able to see the violence we endure daily. I hope White people can see how many White men harass us we are simply trying to live. I hope they can see who difficult it is for us to live daily. I hope they see how our children are terrorized. I hope they see the two criminal justice system. Most importantly I hope they can see how themselves in action, feel ashamed, and are compelled to change. This is what we need most. Change.
It’s not enough to see. We need to feel and see White people change. They’ve seen 400 years. White people seeing isn’t flattering anymore. It’s a nuisance.
We need change. We need them to do something. Change begins and ends with White people. If there is no progress, look at the collective.
