Thank you so much for your contribution to this discussion. Poverty is indeed a problem we all need to be heavily vested in. Rent shouldn’t be so expensive one can’t afford food. No one should be required to go to college and get into debt to simply pursue a dream. If someone decides to have children they shouldn’t be penalized if they have a job, and they should be able to afford good child care so they can care for their family. Life shouldn’t be so hard two people must work, neglecting their family in order to provide a roof over their heads, buy groceries, buy expensive car insurance, and keep up with all unnecessary health care costs.

Poor people don’t want to be rich, they just don’t want to have to work so hard to survive. Some of the same people liberals ignore are the ones who clean their hotel rooms and are required to stay late because their status allows them a late check out. That housekeeper is delayed going home to her family and required to work overtime. The same applies to the mechanic, the grocery store cashier, the taxi-driver. We have forgotten working people and the poor and the poor have given up.

Labels divide us. If we are not discussing equality, systemic equality, then we aren’t really talking about anything. Thank you for making the effort to begin seeing the real America — the majority of America. Most of America is not rich, and most aren’t upper middle class. There are more poor women, children, seniors, and widows living in the shadows than any other group in America. People of color are hit the hardest due to systemic racism and people to lazy to do their own research. Keep finding ways to make an impact wherever your are. People want help, not handouts. They’d much rather be able to take care of themselves, but our system as is has made it nearly impossible. Feminism has fooled a lot of people, just like so many other cults. It’s just a glorified social club.
