Thank you so much Franck for reading and appreciating this personal story. I appreciate children today are so wise. I loved she felt comfortable towards the end of the trip to share the conflicts she must endure. My son has told me she doesn't visit her grandparents much anymore.

I'm sure they are huge Trump supporters she she's exposed to all sorts of racism we don't have in our home. We have so many other things to worry about, putting White people down is the least of our concern. I hope she's able to overcome her trauma and become a healthy, whole person. I'm there for the long haul. In due season, the truth will be revealed.
