… as racist when the same actions from other people of color are not: again, it’s all about context. Think about it; if you and a friend share a negative experience, you can joke about it or talk about it candidly without eliciting offense. But, when someone with no understanding of your experience does the same, it can be offensive.

You cannot have real conversations with people who are easily offended or people who take generalizations personally. Racism is a serious issue that needs to be addressed, but we can’t even say who the perpetrators of most of the offenses are. In any event, thank you for helping Craig and others reading this piece.
