Thank you Tom Ritchford for you kind words and private note. I can’t say why kids who eat the same food, live under the same roof, have the same opportunities, receive the same resources, and are given the same love can’t seem to get their lives together as adults like the other kids in that household. I guess it’s our expectation that all things should be good and perfect (including people). I try to find comfort in the fact that I tried, if it weren’t for my other children I’d think I failed at parenting. I wish parents would share more. Even with “perfect parenting,” hacks…kids can still turn out to be little monsters. Real Life Parenting disclaimers would be nice.
