Thanks for reading, and I can see your point. You know I think it’s a little different for me being a Black women and having to examine the entire system. I’m forced to look at who has enacted policies, created and demolished bills to move or benefit all citizens. I’ve found that mediocre White dudes have done a swell job of fleecing Whites, Blacks, and people of color for centuries. For me personally, I look at my former state (SC), my current state (FL), and Congress (which is 80% White and male), and see the need for change period. Exceptional White men are run off the hordes of mediocrity in state and national legislative bodies. I’m tired of having low standards. So much is at risk, yet we seem to fall back into the same rut in our decision making.
