I have a habit of writing in phases because sometimes people can’t digest all of the things I see systemically at once. We need a mindset of equality, but equity is what aids in making us whole for once. You’re right, without equity, America will continue its same old shenanigans.

Until American does right by Black people and descendants of slaves historically disenfranchised, we will never have a democracy. It’s just talk.
