The Answer Your Friends Should Give: Because I’m racist. I can’t see anyone or anything but myself. I can’t feel what you may be feeling because I don’t give a hoot. You’re my one Black friend, or one like respected. I picked you because you weren’t like them, the other Blacks, always complaining. Now you’re becoming problematic because you’re acting like the other Blacks. You were supposed to be better than them, more like us. Bootstraps ya know. You should be positive and all, hiding all of your ills to keep my lily White butt happy and comfortable.
This is most White people. You can set your clock by them. We’re waking up to the fact we have no friends. All those years spent chasing White people only to find you’re never going to be accepted years later.
