The faith based community here had something similar which was how felons were able to have their voting rights restored. Each year, they get together, set an agenda…and press community leaders for changes. Lately they have been focused on the poor and oppressed. It’s a really nice combo of faith communities and they get things done. I haven’t done much since my divorce, but I’m ready to start fighting for folks again. I also want to see changes. Florida is such a corrupt, morally bankrupt place if you learn how things work and understand how it’s all rooted in this state’s history.
There is a lot of work and not enough hands. I was planning to join ya for the moral march, but…the shutdown. So, I’ll be here in spirit, cussing orange Cheeto head until the carry him and Pencey Poo off in cuffs.
