The party has a racism problem itself. The Democratic party engages is subtle bigotry and covert racism, they just ignore it because of the high value of Whiteness. It can always be redeemed. The VA governor’s debacle is the tip of the iceberg. In the age of Trump and the bulk of the Democratic vote coming from Blacks, look to more exposing and expelling of “reformed” and closeted bigots. If Dems want to win in 2020 they better address racism.
