The path forward should be all offenders should be sentenced to a few years in poor communities of the ethnic group they’ve offended. They should be forced to live on food stamps, live in public housing and a bus pass. They should have to work with all Black staffs, and do various laborious jobs, and be supervised only by Black supervisors. They should lose access to all means and connections until their sentences are complete.
WALK IN OUR SHOES. Pay your debt. Understand how we live. Then go home and live differently. People need to understand what it is to be us. Then I feel I could forgive.
