This! This is why most people don’t care. They don’t own anything. Selling us bootstrap stories don’t erase the plights of millions of Black people nationally. I do not condone looting, but I do not love or care about property more than Black people. And definitely not destroying things in our own communities.

America only understands violence. We are simply speaking America’s language.
