This war caused my fiance and son’s father to die at the age of 34 from Gulf War Syndrome after being exposed to some shit during his final years in the U.S. Navy. He was discharged at the age of 25, and suffered every fuckin day until he just gave up and died. He had to have a defibulator placed in his body to keep his heart beating. He died countless times and had to be resuscitated. The paddle mark scars. All the medicine. Gout and goiters.
Then our government had the nerve to “lose” the documentation that showed what they were injected with prior to setting sail (a deadly concoction to prevent exposure to nerve gas we learned 15 years later), and what sailors were exposed to during their deployment. To further harm vets, the pentagon refused to acknowledge the complaints of soldiers, and refused to grant disability ratings. Young men were too sick to be enlisted and too ill to work.
My brother came home screwed up and uncared for from the first Gulf War too. He went in right after high school. He was only 24 years old.
My son was 9 when his father died, his father was ill before he was born. His life taken so Bushes can be uber wealthy.
I have nothing good to say about him. H.W. Bush’s kids got the pleasure of having a dad until his late 90’s, as thousands of soldiers and veterans died, committed suicide, suffered from depression, and countless hospitalizations from ghost symptoms related to war.
Bush I and II have blood on their hands, and I will never have any honor for either of them. Especially those two.
