For 2020 I hope the Democrats don’t again go for the percieved centerest candidate as they will again lose the engagement of the disaffected normally non voters as they did with Hillary in 2016 and risk losing even more maybe voters.
We see the same things my friend. America has become a mine, mine, mine state with no regard for inequality. Dave Volek sent me a link to a wonderful article in the Atlantic that summed up what has happened to America. Check out the part about the 9.9 percenters. They are the exact people you describe. We have a quiet caste system here in America and it’s existed for a very long time. These people are in both parties. They are perfectly fine with allowing inequality, poverty, and people living in squalor or homeless as long as they don’t bother the new aristocracy.
We have a problem and if we don’t all rebel in the streets soon, we are going to pay dearly. There is no where to go from here Chris but down, but I won’t be guilted into seeing the Dems for what they truly are.
