You did the things. You centered Whiteness. You did not acknowledge that I could be right or that other White people do the things I noted, you chose to focus on yourself (I’m going to assume you’re White). You did the Not all White people thingy that drives me crazy. You went straight to defending yourself. You didn’t hear anything I said.

If didn’t not apply, you should have let it fly. But you didn’t, and you couldn’t, because you have some issues you need to address. They make you respond to things that aren’t even intended for you.
