Your story reminds me of my childhood somewhat (minus porn). My mom did the same thing to me. Never told be anything except don’t get pregnant when I got my period. I read books to learn where babies come from. Went to the health department to learn about sex and contraception. No sex-ed was conducted in our home. Like you experienced sex on my own, with older predators.

I was very open about sex with my sons. I broke the cycle. Thank you for sharing this very important life lesson.
